Rockford UMC Praise Team

The RUMC Praise Band has the awesome privelege and responsibility of leading worship during our 10:30 am Contemporary service each Sunday.  The core members of the Praise Band have been a part of the worship team for nearly eight years.   We have been blessed to have new musicians and vocalists come and go as the Lord has led and we have become a close spiritual family.

Our mission is to help people lift their voices in worhip to the Living God and to point people to the Savior Jesus Christ.  Our desire is not to perform but to lead.  We have to be diligent to direct the glory and praise always to God when the music and the musicians might get the attention. 

Music can soften a hardened heart and prepare the soul to hear the Word of God.
