Chancel Choir
Many, many times music can transcend the power of mere words in worship. Worship leading choirs, such as ours emphasize the individual heart in relationship with our Heavenly Father. Our purpose is to live and sing according to this scripture from John 4:22-24:
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”

Our
mission is to lead others in the congregation to see Jesus only. The
Chancel Choir ministers at our 9:30 AM worship service every week
(during the school year), in addition to special events each year. We
sing a variety of music realizing that “worship” is not a particular
musical style but rather a lifestyle of worship.
Chancel Choir rehearses every Wednesday night in the choir room (in the lower level of the South end of the building) from 7:30-9:00. For more information or to join, contact the choir director, Doug Wendt.
