Leadership at RUMC
The leadership of Rockford UMC is comprised of the committees listed below. Chairs of each committee are selected by the Nominations Committee. Each chair works to recruit other committee members. A list of committee members is available from the church office.

| Missions & Outreach
| Our mission is to make disciples for Jesus Christ! In addition to determining which mission projects we support through our Bread Pans each Sunday, we also have a covenant relationship with a missionary from Mongolia, Helen Shepherd. We lovingly support the North Kent Service Center by working monthly at the Center, collecting food weekly (with a massive food drive in October each year), with monetary donations, etc. We support UMCOR's Crop Walk each year in the fall, Camp New Day (camp for children of incarcerated parents), and Habitat for Humanity of Kent County (with money, time, and food). We also support youth and adult mission trips (ASP, GRASP, New Orleans, etc.). | *

| Representatives from all services meet twice yearly to evaluate the direction our worship services go. | *

| A task based committee which coordinates the nursery, ushers, greeters, communion service, banners, etc. | *

Except for the Staff-Parish Relations Committee (SPRC), all committees are open for any churchgoer to attend.
